Last Day of April

While we may think of Memorial Day as the traditional planting date, there is already activity in the garden. Many perennial herbs and flowers are up; crocuses and grape hyacinths have already passed. Chard, carrots, spinach, lettuce, and radishes have been planted. We are all eager to grow!
