In honor of Arbor Day (April 28) an oak and a maple tree are being planted at Canillas Community Garden. As you can see in the photo, the oak tree has a massive root ball and will likely give us shade this summer.  The maple is younger; both are an investment in the future.  The oak was donated by Canillas Garden Committee members Helen Brody and Cherry Angell, with planting help from Doug McGrath of Leb Parks and Recreation. The maple was purchased with funds from Lebanon Parks and Recreation and the Canillas Community Garden.

Light refreshments will be served.
