The Canillas Community Garden is an organic garden located on CCBA property in downtown Lebanon, NH, on the banks of the Mascoma River. There are currently 35 individual raised beds, a spiral flower garden, two herb gardens (one open to the community), hugelkultur, a pollinator garden, blueberries, and a bean tepee. Garden plots are 12’X4′ (48 square feet). Fees are $20 per plot. For more information contact Kevin Talcott at CCBA:  kevin.talcott@joinccba.org.

The Canillas Community Garden has been made possible by the support of CCBA, which offered us the land and liability insurance and acts as our fiscal agent, and funding from Upper Valley HEAL (Healthy Eating Active Living), the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of the Upper Valley, the Mascoma Savings Bank Foundation, and the Dolben Company (owners of Emerson Place Apartments.) Our beautiful garden shed is the work of students from the Regional Resource Center at Hartford High School and their teacher Rick Clavelle. Our Canillas Community Garden sign was painted by artists at AVA Gallery. Our benches were donated by Cherry Angell in memory of her husband Norman Angell.  Thanks to the many volunteers who made our garden happen.
